Make-A-Wish Auction Results

Id like to thank everyone for their participation in the charity auction, be it by bidding or donating cards. A total of $729 was raised for The Make-A-Wish Foundation. While this is lower than the last auction, there were fewer lots, and fewer bidders. Im pleased with the results.

PRESS RELEASES

Mersey Beat Telegeny

Mersey Beat Telegeny : surely the grooviest new communications accessory has to be the 'Mersey Beat Telephone Card Collection' : Bill Harry, the founder of the 1960's Mersey Beat music paper and ACC Telecom are releasing five licensed, exclusive, limited edition and mintage numbered colections of phone cards in association with London based design & marketing group Invisible.

The cards feature a series of rarely seen original colour covers of the Mersey Beat music paper, and are packaged in CD format presentation carriers designed in the style of the original music paper, and have copy written specially by Bill Harry discussing each series, the groups and performers featured. The first two series, 'Mersey Beat' and 'Beat Scene' are available now. Each series consists of six different cards and images. Next up for release is 'The British Invasion', followed by 'The Rolling Stones' and 'The Beatles : Artists of The Millenium'. The cards are highly collectable, offer competetive call rates, operate via the use of a PIN number and can be re-charged with a credit card.

All five 'Beat Card' sets are available worldwide and can be used from a number of different countries...the 'Beat Cards' website offers stylish series information, and can be seen at : http://www.beatcards.com , with e-mail enquiries at information@beatcards.com
