Free Phonecard Offer

C&C Jewelers created these phone cards as a promotional for our store's quitting business sale. To our knowledge, it's the only phonecard ever created by and for an independent jewelry store. We produced 2,000 of these. There are a few hundred left, and you can have TWO FOR FREE if you send a self-addressed stamped envelope to C&C Phonecard, c/o Jamie Foster, P O Box 1132, Pismo Beach, CA 93448. There is no time on these cards, but you can put time on them if you want (by following the instructions on the back). Indicate whether or not you want scratch offs. Visa Cash Online Newsletter - January 31, 1998

By: COM-GAL, LTD. Dealers in Visa Cash & other Stored Value Cards

FT LEONARD WOOD CARD SUFACES: The first reported Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri card has surfaced in collector hands. It may very well be a sample or demo card as well. The card carries no serial number in the area marked on the left rear of the card for such number. Further, it reads neither $0.00 nor $260, its marked denomination as the women's disposable card. We're examining this card on loan this week, and will have more soon. It may very well be an unloaded demo, sharp work got this card in the collector arena. The no expiration date, reloadable Ft Knox card, may very well be Mellon Bank's introduction of Visa Cash.

VETERAN'S MOVE TO TAMPA: Both the Lincoln $10 and Constitution $20 found there way to Tampa, reportedly 5,000 in both the Bronx and Tampa for distribution of this popular pair of cards. Significantly issues for Treasury Dept of Financial Management mark the return of Nationsbank to the Visa Cash program.

FIRST UNION is readying a $5 Charlotte Headquarters Building card which the denomination indicates to be an employee or insider card. Also a $10 Charlotte Skyline...is this the long awaited debut of the design from the pre-Visa Cash "Board of Directors" card? That was the initial card done as a $25 Money Card by First. We'll know within weeks now.

NASCAR ON VISA CASH: Collectors loved the Texaco II Visa Cash from First Union featuring Ernie Ervin's Havoline Car...now a NASCAR set of two cards will be released within the coming week or so in $20 & $50 denominations. Designs still yet to be revealed. They'll be in Charlotte and Atlanta CDM's (Card Dispensing Machines).

TAIWAN CASHCARD MADNESS: Citibank and up to seven other banks have introduced Visa Cash now. The popular Citibank NT$150 Gauguin painting card is proving impossible to locate or actually grasp. Reports have it well over $200us on International markets with few actually trading. Those possessing them are slow to trade or sell these cards right now. This 1,000 piece card has led to the introduction of the 4 card Banknotes set by up to eight banks. That makes upwards to 32 bank logo varieties for collectors to chase!

CARIPLO BANK RETURNS: Scheduled for February in Italy is the return to Visa Cash issuing by Cariplo Bank. During winter of 1997 Cariplo issued an elusive set of nine Moneta Contante Visa Cash cards for the Ski World Cup held in Bormio and surrounding ski towns. Now in a more wide spread return of Visa Cash in Italy, Cariplo is poised to issue a new set of standalone reloadable cards imminently.
