Dear Friends, At our last AOL Phone Card Club Meeting, we made many important decisions. We had almost 20 people show up to help us make these decisions. First of all, our new meeting time is every Tuesday at 9 PM Eastern Time.
Our second decision, was who to make our new vice president. It was a unanimous decision that Ginger Gragg would get the position. After me made these decisions, we chatted, traded, and played games. Lizzy gave away some great McDonald's cards (among others), and Ginger gave away some nice Yoo Hoo cards. At our next meeting Ginger will be giving away a Polaroid 3D phone card. All you have to do is show up to have a chance at winning! On Tuesday, we hope to establish a LIGHT set of rules to keep order during our meetings. Just some rules that would give everyone a chance to talk and share their news, etc. We will make a decision about the rules at our next meeting on Tuesday. The club is unfortunately only available to AOL members.
If you are an AOL member and you would like directions on how to get there just contact me. Once again, our next meeting will be on Tuesday, November 4th, at 9 PM Eastern Time. I hope to see many new faces there!

GTE Airfone today announced that Airport Cellular(TM), located at Chicago's O'Hare Airport International Terminal 5, will be the first retail outlet to sell GTE Air-Land Prepaid Phone Cards.
The GTE Air-Land Card(TM) will be sold in various denominations. It is similar to current prepaid phone cards, with the added advantage that travelers can use it to place calls on aircraft equipped with the Advanced Digital Airfone(R) Service from GTE as well as from cellular and landline phones.
Airport Cellular, which opened in March 1997, rents and sells cellular telephones, pagers and prepaid phone cards to international travelers passing through O'Hare International Terminal 5. It operates two stores in the terminal: one in the arrival area and another in departure. "We have been so successful with prepaid cards and cellular at the arrival area that we decided to have another location in the departure area," said John Sclafani, Airport Cellular's president and CEO. "The GTE Air-Land Card is another product we can offer airline passengers."
